Developer files plans for two-story ‘in-fill addition’ to close off western end of Cafe Street.

Cousins Properties is moving forward with plans to develop a two-story “in-fill addition” in Terminus, a Buckhead multi-use project, that will serve as additional retail space.

The real estate firm submitted a building permit application to City of Atlanta Tuesday for the commercial addition.

An estimated $2,911,726 will be spent constructing the 6,883-square-foot addition.

The new building, located between Terminus 100 and the parking deck at Terminus 200, is primarily being developed to close the gap that is reportedly causing a “wind tunnel effect that renders the patio area unsuitable for outdoor dining as intended.”

Which retailers and/or restaurants will occupy the soon-be-developed space has not been confirmed.
