The popular Buckhead Village restaurant, The Southern Gentleman is inviting guests to join a celebration of exquisite wines. The special evening on March 19 will feature the renowned winemaker Paula Kornell of Paula Kornell Sparkling Wines and Meghan Delzell of Sangiacomo Winery. Enjoy an intimate four-course dinner experience, which will be complemented by a curated selection of wines.

The Southern Gentleman will be hosting the exclusive dinner to bring Paula Kornell’s legacy to the spotlight. The guests will get to interact with the woman-owned winemaker, as she shares insights into her winemaking process. 

She possesses knowledge of Napa Valley and California’s celebrated wine regions, which have a deep-rooted viticultural legacy. Guests will also hear the stories that make the history of each of the pours.

The evening will also highlight Meghan Delzell. She handles the sales and hospitality teams for the family-run vineyard, Sangiacomo Winery. The winery is famous for producing some of Sonoma’s finest wines. Delzell will also be speaking to the guests at the dinner, about the viticulture in Sonoma.

The Menu for the Evening

The four-course dinner will begin with an amuse, which will have Fried Chicken, Creme Fraiche, and Caviar Crostini. The wine pairing for the first course will be Paula Kornell Blanc de Noirs.

It will be followed by starters, which will be Tater Tart & Tomato Pie, Herb Roasted potatoes, heirloom cherry tomatoes, basil, and whipped basil feta. Diners will be served Sangiacomo Five Clones Pinot Noir.

For the main course, Barrel Braised Bone-In Short rib, Sweet Potato Purée, Sautéed Collard greens, and Crispy Onion Rings will be served. Sangiacomo Cabernet Sauvignon will be the wine for this course.

To finish the dinner on a sweet note, Pecan Pie Bread Pudding, a dish made of warm brioche bread pudding, toasted pecans, bourbon caramel, and topped with whipped crème fraiche will be served.

Enjoy the Paula Kornell Brut Rosé while finishing off the dinner.

Timings, Ticket Prices, and Booking

The Southern Gentleman Gastropub will be hosting the Exclusive winemaker dinner on March 19, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Ticket prices for the event will be $125 per person plus taxes and gratuity. There are limited seats available for the event. Bookings can be made online.
