Multi-Unit Subway franchisee to open first Atlanta location of the quick-service concept.
Saurin Patel, a multi-unit subway franchisee, could open Atlanta’s first Pita Pit in The Plaza Midtown development the first week of May (Pita Pit had a location in Decatur that has since been replaced by Souper Jenny.)
Paul Girardeau, the architect building out the Pita Pit for Patel, Thursday submitted a building permit application to City of Atlanta to begin the construction process.
An estimated $160,000 will be spent on the “tenant fit-up” for the 1,505-square-foot Pita Pit.
Patel has plans for several additional locations in the greater metro-Atlanta area should his Midtown location succeed, the franchisee told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview Thursday.
Idaho-based Pita Pit was founded in 1995 and has 500 restaurants in a total of 11 countries.
