Uncut, an “ultra lounge” in Miami with an outpost “coming soon” to Philadelphia, is expanding to Atlanta and with it bringing sister concept Uncut Steaks, a Philly cheesesteaks eatery.

Construction at Uncut Atlanta and Uncut Steaks is wrapping up, at 554 Piedmont Avenue NE, and the adjacent businesses could get their first guests — by invitation only — as soon as February 26, according to Uncut’s social media. “The countdown is on the race to the finish line at [Uncut Atlanta] — five days,” according to an Instagram post on Sunday.

Crews are working feverishly to get the space ready for Owner Karon “Ron” Jackson’s birthday, which will be celebrated this weekend in Atlanta, the restaurateur recently tweeted. “Atlanta gon [sic] be crazy for my birthday weekend,” Jackson wrote on the social media site.

Details surrounding Uncut Steaks are scarce but a landing page for Uncut Miami provides a glimpse of what Atlantans might expect at Uncut Atlanta. The “upscale” hookah lounge and bar offers live music and “great vibes.” In Miami, Uncut is open seven days a week until 2 a.m.

“Every day is lit” including on Sundays when Uncut hosts a brunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., followed by the “Uncut day party.” On Tuesdays, Uncut “is the place to be” for Taco Tuesdays.
