Multi-unit Jimmy Johns franchisee Chuck Sobczuk has plans to open two locations in Buckhead over the next six months.

Sobczuk already owns and operates four locations of the quick-service sandwich joint know for its “freaky-fast” delivery in the metro-Atlanta area.

“The plan is to open as many Jimmy Johns as I possibly can even if that means buying existing stores,” Sobczuk told What Now Atlanta in a telephone conversation Thursday.

Sobczuk filed a building permit application with City of Atlanta Thursday to buildout his fifth Jimmy Johns restaurant, at 2900 Peachtree Road, in The Peach Shopping Center, slated for an August grand opening.

Once his Peach store opens, Sobczuk will begin building out his sixth store near the Lindbergh Marta Station, at 2450 Piedmont Road, situated between Willy’s Wet Willie’s and PNC.

Sobczuk and his team are scouting locations for three additional Jimmy Johns to open in 2016 including a location in Brookhaven.

After successfully opening nine Jimmy Johns stores inside the perimeter, Sobczuk will turn his focus to outside I-285 and beyond for additional restaurant outposts.

Sobczuk owns and operates Jimmy Johns stores in the Realm Condo building (3324 Peachtree Road), across from Piedmont Hospital (1921 Peachtree Road), Roswell, and Norcross.
