Charleston-based The Indigo Road hospitality group is moving forward with plans to open an outpost of its sushi concept, O-Ku, in West Midtown.

A building permit application Wednesday was filed with City of Atlanta to buildout the restaurant, at 1085 Howell Mill Road, in the Westside Ironworks development.

An estimated $961,135 will be spent constructing the new 4,945-square-foot O-Ku in suite A-3.

The sushi restaurant will have a rooftop deck for dining, and joins Dixon Rye home furnishings and restaurant Tom+Chee in the development.

The Indigo Road last year entered the greater metro-Atlanta market with two restaurants at Alpharetta’s Avalon mixed-use development: Oak Steakhouse and Colletta.

The hospitality group’s portfolio of restaurants include Oak Steakhouse, The Cocktail Club, The Macintosh, The Oak Table, Indaco, Colletta, and O-Ku.
