According to recent permit documents filed with the city, a Columbus area Raising Cane’s may soon see some upgrades. The restaurant located at 5132 N High St in north Columbus has filed a permit to perform alterations inside the building that will have a positive impact on its customer base, such as upgrades that include getting new cooking equipment.

With a menu that’s heavily focused on getting chicken fingers just right, and a motto of serving only the most craveable chicken finger meals, the chicken chain got its start in Baton Rouge, in 1996 and has grown from the first eatery to over 700 across the U.S., according to information found on its website.

Of course chicken fingers, along with the brand’s signature dipping sauce called Cane’s Sauce, feature heavily on the menu, but the chain also offers a chicken sandwich. Sides include crinkle cut fries, cole slaw and Texas toast, with beverages like tea, available sweet and unsweet, lemonade and fountain drinks.
