According to a recent permit filing, the Auntie Anne’s inside the John Glenn Columbus International Airport, located at 4600 International Gateway, will soon see some renovations. As detailed in the permit filing, the restaurant is set to receive a few upgrades that include revising the point of sale locations as well as cosmetic enhancements, such as removing a security grille.
Last fall, What Now Columbus reported that the restaurant filed a permit for other work, which included updates to the signage and finishes. In addition to the traditional soft pretzels, the eatery offers dips such as cheese, honey mustard, marinara and caramel. The pretzels range from the classic style, to a number of flavored offerings like pepperoni and cinnamon sugar.
Guests can also opt for hot dogs wrapped in a soft pretzel, or pretzel bites, available in regular and cinnamon sugar flavors. The drink menu includes lemonade in a number of flavors as well as soft drinks.
According to information on its website, Auntie Anne’s was founded by Anne Beiler at a Pennsylvania farmer’s market in 1988. Fast forward to the present day, when there are over 1,000 locations throughout the U.S., including many located in malls and airports.
