Less than a mile from where French Truck Coffee was launched by founder Geoffery Meeker more than a decade ago, a new location of the popular coffee chain is coming to 7638 Maple St. The new location will be in the former Zoe’s Bakery and next to a former PJ’s Coffee, both of which closed in earlier this year. According to NOLA.com, the walkability of Maple Street and the surrounding neighborhood make a great fit for the chain’s 13th location. It is scheduled to open in early May.

In February, What Now New Orleans reported on French Truck Coffee planning to expand across Southern Louisiana, with new locations are being planned for “west of New Orleans” and the Northshore. French Truck Coffee also recently relaunched its mobile app to include a loyalty program and mobile ordering.
