Local restaurateur Sergio Mirabelli recently announced plans to open a new modern Italian restaurant in Rancho Cordova—and now, it appears even more concepts are in the works.
According to ESM Restaurant Group‘s website, a new eatery called Florian Cafe and Deli is “coming soon” to the Westfield Galleria at Roseville, located at 1151 Galleria Blvd.
While very little is currently known about the eatery, Florian’s logo offers a few clues. It describes the concept as “an authentic Italian tradition,” featuring an enoteca (wine shop), pasticceria (pastry shop), caffetteria (coffee shop), and gastronomia (deli).
While Mirabelli briefly confirmed the plans with What Now Sacramento, he noted that Florian Cafe and Deli is still in the negotiations stage of development. A press release with additional details is expected in the coming weeks.
Mirabelli opened his first restaurant, Caffe Italiano Ristorante, in Fair Oaks about five years ago, and the Florence, Italy native is quickly expanding his portfolio. Another concept is currently in the works for Fair Oaks as well.
