Chicken Salad Chick Heads to Clearwater

Your favorite chicken salad brand is expanding its Tampa Bay footprint

Chicken Salad Chick, the fast-growing fast-casual chicken salad chain founded by Stacy and Kevin Brown, is continuing to build out its presence in the Tampa Bay region. What Now reported on news of a new Chicken Salad Chick opening in Lakeland back in September, and a now another location is in the works in Clearwater. It’s opening at 2140 Gulf to Bay Blvd., according to submitted plan review paperwork.

What Now confirmed the news with franchisee Paul Rohr on Friday. Rohr said the opening date has not been determined just yet but will be known soon.

“We’re still waiting on permits, so it’s looking like the end of summer or beginning of fall,” Rohr said.

Made from scratch, served from the heart,” Chicken Salad Chick serves up meals like The Chick, served with your choice of any Scoop or Sandwich, plus choice of Fresh Sides like Broccoli Salad, Grape Salad, Pasta Salad, and Fresh Fruit. Chicken Salad varieties include Barbie Q, the Classic Carol (Our signature chicken salad that got it all started – all white meat, shredded chicken, finely minced celery, mayonnaise & our secret seasoning), and Cranberry Kelli (A mixture of dried, sweetened cranberries & slivered almonds).
