The Central Texas suburb is set to face a positive shift in its real estate space. Its Cedar Park location will soon be home to the Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. Construction will start this May 2025, and it will be open to tourists by 2027. The Austin-based development will also support CedarView, a mixed-use development.

Austin to Welcome New Tourists through Cedar Park Marriott
The latest hotel and convention center project will be developed at 2155 Cedarview Drive, Cedar Park, TX 78613. It will be developed in two years at Cedar Park, 20 miles north of Austin.
Spread over a 210,965 sq. ft. area, the complex will have seven stories. Cedar Park Marriott will also offer 297 guest rooms, which will be connected to a 50,797 sq. ft. conference room.
The $95 million project will also support CedarView, another mixed-use establishment, which will be a central spot for commerce, lifestyle, and leisure offerings. Plans for it were announced in March 2025 by Indiana’s real estate brand, Great Lakes Capital.
The partnership between the city of Cedar Park, Great Lakes Capital, and Nebraska Furniture Market will carry out the CedarView part of the project.
Great Lakes Capital’s Managing Partner Ryan Rans shared his excitement for Austin’s new hotel and convention center, which will “elevate” hospitality standards in the city. The City Manager of Cedar Park, Brenda Eivens, also expressed her positive views about enhanced tourism and economic growth through the vibrant partnership project.
Amenities at the New Tourist Complex
The Cedar Park Marriott project will be the city’s only full-service hotel. Tourists at the Austin development can thus enjoy on-site dining, concierge, and recreation services.
The project will also offer a variety of amenities to Cedar Park visitors. Its three-story parking will fit 320 slots in a 120,445 sq. ft. area. Additionally, there will be a breakfast cafe, a pool area, and a breakfast cafe at the Austin establishment.
Timeline of Cedar Park Marriott
Construction work for the Cedar Park Marriott will start next month on May 15. Developers expect that this Austin-based hotel and convention complex will open doors for visitors by February 2027.
Cedar Park is Flourishing with Other Development Projects
Other than the newest hotel establishment, Cedar Park will make way for other real estate projects like Trader Joe’s. PopStroke and a WorldSprings luxury wellness and spa will be other attractions under the new Cedar Park Marriott project.
Cedar Park Marriott will accelerate tourism in Austin through its varied amenities, vast conference center, and integration with CedarView. The hotel and convention center are anticipated to become a vibrant hub for community growth, contributing significantly to Cedar Park’s economy by 2027.
