A mysterious new concept from an established DMV restaurateur is piquing curiosity in Arlington diners. Nettie’s Tavern, the latest from Reese Gardner, is coming to the Clarendon neighborhood this summer, reports local media outlet Arlington Magazine.

There’s not a great deal of information presently available about the concept moving into the 2854 Wilson Boulevard storefront. Nettie’s is taking over the space vacated by B Live in December of 2024. According to paperwork filed with the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority, the space will accommodate between 100 and 150 customers.

Though details about Nettie’s Tavern remain sparse-the establishment has an Instagram page live, but it does not yet have any posts-Gardner’s bona fides speak for themselves. The entrepreneur founded the Copperwood Tavern, spearheaded the Wooden Nickel Bar Company, and owns the Greenheart Juice Shop.

Local foodies will find out just what Nettie’s Tavern has in store when the eatery opens its doors this August.
