According to PR Newswire, Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii is bringing its aloha spirit to Boulder as part of large-scale efforts by the brand to expand in the Front Range. A new franchisee will open a shop at 2850 Baseline Rd. Suite A-4 — right across from the University of Colorado Boulder.
This opening will be the first in a three-unit deal agreement by franchisee Beth Deasy, who is also working on stores in Lakewood and Castle Rock, and looking into other development options as well. She is a military veteran and seasoned entrepreneur with a resume of over two decades of experience in franchising, law, and business development.
“Bad Ass Coffee blends purpose with product in a way that’s fun, uplifting, and deeply grounded. That’s rare — and it’s what inspired me to take this leap and join this exciting brand as it spread warm aloha across the country!” Deasy told What Now Denver.
She divulged that the lease has been signed, construction bids are due this week, and she expects to get the keys in May. She anticipates construction to ensue from mid-June to August, and to hopefully be able to open in time for college students coming back to school.
The property, which used to house an Amante Coffee, is nearly 2000 square feet. It has an upstairs lanai to take in the beautiful nature views and a fireplace. It is in the same center as Cafe Mexicali, Pho Kitchen Bar & Grill, Club Pilates, a nail salon, and an Xfinity store.
