Junior Cookies, a beloved dessert shop in West Hollywood, is set to open a new location in Santa Monica at 2726 Main St.

The company’s second location will move into he former home of the Sweet Rose Creamery, first reported by ToddRickAllen. Owner Halil Sevis tells What Now Los Angeles that they are currently going through inspections, noting that “you never know what they come up with,” but he expects the new location to open sometime between mid-May and the end of May. Signage on-site hints at a Spring/Summer debut, promising “the world’s freshest cookies.”

The expansion marks the brand’s first move outside its original location in West Hollywood, located at 8703 Santa Monica Blvd. Sevis says the second location will feature the same menu and service format as the original. Guests can expect the brand’s signature lineup of cookies, coffee, and ice cream. Popular cookie flavors include Banana Pudding, KitKat Tiramisu, and Salted Almond Chocolate Chip. Cookies are made fresh to order and offered in customizable assortments. The shop will continue its focus on bite-sized cookies baked on-site daily.

Founded in 2022, Junior Cookies was created as a passion project centered around nostalgic desserts. The concept began in a home kitchen before expanding to a storefront on Santa Monica Blvd. Junior Cookies uses a “bake-on-demand” model to ensure that its cookies are always fresh, according to the company’s website. The shop has become known for its broad rotating flavor menu and made-to-order cookie cups. The company’s products are available for walk-in, pickup, and delivery.
