Bourbon Street denizens looking to acquire Huge Ass Beers will have another official emporium from which to choose when a bar called Corruption opens at 327 Bourbon St. A public announcement on the bar, including an opening date, has not been made public, but permit filings with the City of New Orleans indicate that Corruption will feature live adult entertainment and a full bar. When it opens in the former Faix Deaux Deaux, Corruption will join a handful of other Bourbon Street establishments serving up proprietary Huge Ass Beers, which also includes Huge Ass Cantina, Prohibition, and Cornet. In 2019, owners behind the copyright got into a legal tussle, filing a lawsuit that claimed rival businesses selling Giant Ass Beer were infringing on their copyright. Based on the available information, there doesn’t seem to be a final settlement or ruling made public. It’s possible the case was settled out of court.
