Common Ground Culinary, a prominent Arizona-based restaurant management company founded by Chef Christopher Collins in 2011, is getting ready to unveil a new concept called Cowboy Seafood at 3112 N Central Ave.

The company recently submitted a liquor license application to open this new concept in a vacant building near the Park Central business center. Exactly what Cowboy Seafood will offer is unclear, but customers should have high expectations, considering it’s the latest from Common Ground Culinary. Based on the name “Cowboy Seafood,” it’s likely that the restaurant will offer a fusion of Western and seafood cuisines. This concept could include grilled steaks or barbecued meats paired with fresh seafood options like shrimp or fish. Despite the lack of information, the space is currently under construction and expected to be completed around October 2025.

Common Ground Culinary operates a diverse portfolio of neighborhood-focused dining concepts across Phoenix and Scottsdale. These include Saint Urban, a wine bar offering shareable cuisine, and Collins Brothers Public House, an elevated American fare spot in Scottsdale. The Collins Small Batch Kitchen serves unique American dishes in Phoenix’s Biltmore area. Other concepts include Grassroots Kitchen & Tap, a Southern-influenced eatery in Scottsdale, and The Neighborly, an upscale American spot in Uptown Phoenix. Their portfolio also features Wally’s American Gastropub, Sweet Provisions ice cream parlor, and Arcadia Catering Company.

Chef Christopher Collins is a fourth-generation restaurateur with a deep passion for the culinary arts. He graduated from Boston University with a degree in hospitality management before working as an executive chef and general manager at top restaurants across the U.S. In 2011, he founded Common Ground Culinary in Phoenix to create community-driven restaurants. His approach focuses on high-quality food and exceptional service in welcoming environments. Collins aims to bring soul to his dining concepts while contributing to the local community. The established chef will now focus on Cowboy Seafood, hopefully opening it before the end of the year.
