On the heels of announcing that NADC Burger is coming to The Arcade, Scratch Restaurants is now bringing another concept — Sushi by Scratch — to the second floor of The Arcade in late 2025, according to the Nashville Business Journal.
The Michelin-acclaimed omakase concept serves 10 customers at a time with a $185 tasting menu. Previously, The Michelin Guide praised Sushi by Scratch for its original, personalized experience.
The omakase experience at other Sushi by Scratch locations offers 16 pieces of nigiri and one dessert bite. There are also beverages available, including cocktails, sake and beer.
Sushi by Scratch currently has 12 locations, including spots in Austin, Denver, Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, Miami and Seattle.
Chefs Phillip Frankland Lee and Margarita Kallas-Lee launched Scratch Restaurants, which includes other concepts like Pasta Bar and NADC Burger, in 2013.
“Scratch Restaurants started when Chefs Phillip Frankland Lee and Margarita Kallas-Lee decided they wanted to put their personal spin on what a restaurant concept could be,” the Scratch Restaurants website states. “Although each of their concepts are independent and unique from one another, the constant thread that ties all of Scratch Restaurants together is the dedication to the artisanal ‘from scratch’ approach to hospitality.”
What Now Nashville got in touch with a spokesperson with Sushi by Scratch for more details on the Nashville location, but they declined to provide additional information at this time.
