Founded by Hamzah Nasser in Dearborn, Michigan, Haraz Coffee is preparing to embark on a massive expansion:

“Since its humble beginnings,” says the About page on the Haraz Coffee website, “Haraz Coffee House has grown to 20 locations across metro Detroit and other cities with 142 in the pipeline, becoming a symbol of authenticity and excellence in the coffee industry. By blending rich traditions with modern tastes, Hamzah has created a space where culture and community thrive.”

142 new locations in the pipeline!

As it turns out, the franchise has one of those locations planned for Pembroke Pines, opening in Westfork Plaza, the retail center on the northeast corner of the intersection of Pines Boulevard and Northwest 160th Avenue. Plan review paperwork submitted by Coffee Trends LLC shows Haraz Coffee opening at 15817 Pines Blvd.

What Now confirmed the news on Tuesday with franchisee Malik Waqas. Waqas declined to comment further on plans for the opening at this time, but What Now is awaiting an update.

“Haraz Coffee is on a mission to share the rich heritage of Yemeni coffee with the world. By sourcing the finest beans and honoring traditional craftsmanship, we bring the bold, authentic flavors of Yemen to every cup,” says the website. “As we expand across the United States, we’re committed to creating unforgettable coffee experiences that connect communities and celebrate culture.”
