San Pedro Fish Market, known for its seafood experience since 1956, is gearing up to unveil the next phase of its innovative “Landing” concept in June 2025, marking another milestone in its storied history. Situated adjacent to the Los Angeles Maritime Museum at 6th Street and Harbor Blvd in San Pedro, this next phase builds upon the success of “The New Landing”, which has delighted patrons since its launch in May 2023.

“Embracing the spirit of continuity and enhancement, The Next Landing promises an elevated experience with fresh elements that capture the essence of the waterfront locale, anchoring West Harbor. We’re thrilled to unveil the next chapter of The Landing, offering our cherished guests an even richer experience inspired by the vibrant atmosphere of San Pedro Fish Market. This wouldn’t have been possible without the invaluable support and collaborative spirit of our partners at West Harbor,” said Michael Ungaro, CEO and Owner of San Pedro Fish Market in a statement, with deep appreciation. “Their unwavering commitment and vision have been instrumental in bringing this project to fruition. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire West Harbor community for their ongoing support and enthusiasm. Together, we’re not just creating a destination, we’re building a legacy of shared experiences and unforgettable moments by the waterfront.”

The Landing is the culmination of a collaborative endeavor involving San Pedro Fish Market, West Harbor, and the Port of Los Angeles. This vibrant waterfront space has captivating design elements and activations, promising to enthrall visitors with its dynamic ambiance and culinary offerings. United in their efforts, these partnerships are fashioning an immersive, outdoor ambiance that effortlessly melds with its natural setting, serving as an exquisite backdrop for unforgettable gatherings.

Since its inception as Vista Seafood in 1956, San Pedro Fish Market has evolved into a culinary institution, fully embracing its legacy when it adopted its current identity in 1982. Following a successful inaugural year, the establishment relocated to the LA Waterfront, taking over Norms Landing Fish Market. Here, they broadened their offerings to include live crab and lobster, shrimp cocktails, and house-smoked fish, all essential elements of the San Pedro Fish Market experience. Norm’s Landing epitomizes their dedication to authentic seafood dining. This rich history and the pivotal role of Norm’s Landing have led to the affectionate nickname for San Pedro Fish Market’s current phase as “The Landing,” symbolizing the company’s ongoing commitment to honoring its roots while embracing growth, innovation and heritage.

While The Landing is under development, San Pedro Fish Market continues to serve guests daily at the current Landing located at 760 S Harbor Blvd, San Pedro, CA 90731 within West Harbor. Visitors are welcome to immerse themselves in the lively atmosphere that honors both food and family, and savor seafood delights, including the Shrimp Tray. Operating hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
