What Now reported earlier this year on an upcoming expansion in the works for popular smashburger concept Skinny Louie. The brand is currently expanding both in South Florida and in New York City, and its next new store in the Sunshine State is opening tomorrow, Friday, May 23, according to coverage by the Miami New Times. It’s opening at 153 Giralda Ave. in Coral Gables.
“We are beyond excited about these openings, not only because it’s a huge milestone in our brand’s expansion, but also because it allows us to get closer to more people and their homes,” a representative of the brand told What Now. “Our goal is to reach more neighborhoods and create a local spot where people can gather, enjoy a burger, and share good vibes with friends and family.”
The Skinny Louie menu includes only the good stuff: there’s the Skinny Louie Cheeseburger (grilled onions, double American cheese, pickles & Louie sauce), the Classic Burger (American cheese, tomato, lettuce, onions, ketchup & mustard), and the Applewood Bacon Burger (crispy applewood smoked bacon, American cheese & Louie sauce). That’s accompanied by fries and by milkshakes in three flavors: Cookies & Cream, Choco Brownie, and Strawberry Bliss. Like we said: only the good stuff.
“Skinny Louie is the first smash’d burger joint in Wynwood,” says the Skinny Louie website. “We are a cool and laid-back brand, delivering a product that is simple yet of absolute quality. Our patties are 100% FRESH BLACK ANGUS BEEF and our fries are cooked to perfection, delivering a thin and crispy texture. After getting to know us, we hope you’ll come to know us a little bit more than a great product!”
What’s next for Skinny Louie? A new location in Aventura is also on the way. It’s currently visible on Google Maps: a Skinny Louie planned for 1920 NE 207th St, Suite 106, in Aventura ParkSquare.
