DC hot dog enthusiasts have been starving for details about one of the fall’s hottest restaurant prospects. Marv’s Dogs, the new concept from the visionary behind Cork Wine Bar, has applied for a liquor license for its permanent home on Wisconsin Avenue, reports local media outlet PoPville.

Future regulars can look forward to stopping in at 4936 Wisconsin Avenue, NW to grab a frank. According to the paperwork on file with the Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration, the space will provide both indoor and outdoor seating options. Marv’s will be able to accommodate up to 83 customers, with interior seating for 35. Up to 29 guests will be able to enjoy their hotdogs at an outside sidewalk cafe on nice days.

Marv’s will be open and ready to serve guests from 9 am to 12 am daily.

Though locals will have to wait until the fall to sample Marv’s fare, Diane Gross’s latest project has already caused quite a stir in the DMV dining scene. The hotdog eatery stood out at the 2025 New Kitchens on the Block showcase, and is certain to distinguish itself through its focus on an underserved fast-casual favorite.

Tenley town foodies can look forward to Chicago-style dogs accompanied by soft-serve and shakes; true comfort food for the soul.
