Popular daytime café chain First Watch is planning a new location in Denver’s Tech Center as part of a massive multi-lot redevelopment, according to Developing Denver. The eatery was announced as one of the confirmed tenants at a multi-use project going on at the intersection of East Belleview Avenue and South Ulster Street.
This new First Watch will join other national brands, including Sweetgreen, Solidcore, GolfTec, a PNC Bank, and a renovation of an existing office building for Shea Properties’ new headquarters. Also being built on site is a seven-story apartment complex with 481 market-rate units.
It will join ten other locations in the state, the Florida-based chain’s website states. The company currently operates restaurants in Highlands Ranch, Arvada, Aurora, Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Littleton, and two in both Centennial and Colorado Springs. What Now Denver has also covered a few potential sites the company has looked at in North Denver and by the airport.
The latest permitting activity for the massive development, called Marina Square, was transportation plans that were marked as needing resubmittal. Shea Properties and First Watch did not return a request for comment on a timeline for the restaurant’s opening.
