Wingstop is spreading its wings to Elk Grove.
The national chicken wing chain is gearing up to launch a new location in The Crossing shopping center at 8694 Elk Grove Blvd, Suite 3, according to The Sacramento Bee. The new eatery will sit between Charlene’s Beauty Supply and LaBou in the 39,200-square-foot plaza.
Celebrated for its craveable chicken wings, Wingstop serves both bone-in and boneless varieties in bold flavors like classic hot, garlic parmesan, and lemon pepper. Loyal fans also rave about the brand’s hand-cut seasoned fries, house-made ranch dressing, and growing lineup of crispy chicken sandwiches.
Wingstop was founded in 1994 in Garland, Texas, and has since grown to more than 2,500 restaurants worldwide—including over 400 in California alone. The upcoming Elk Grove spot will be the chain’s 18th location in the Greater Sacramento area.
An exact opening date hasn’t been announced yet, but What Now Sacramento has reached out to Wingstop representatives for further details, so stay tuned.
