According to a recent Facebook post, a new wine bar is coming to Melbourne.

“Just a day in the life lately! & quick update! We are hoping for June!! days are busy, & the project is coming to life!,” a post by Dolly’s Wine Bar states.

“Our bar & gantry is getting final paint touches this week, custom bathroom wallpaper is a dream, custom tile is on its way, painting starts next week, electrical for ice cream machine is ready (yes, ice cream)! The neon business sign of my dreams is in production, outdoor seating layout is being drawn up for city approval! Somethings are slower than others but this week feels like we’ve gotten a lot accomplished,”

“Dolly is so ready for the construction dust to be over with (ICK) & so are we!! We can’t wait to serve you soon! In the meantime, join our wine club! Oh, & @color.on.tap summer kick off event was a blast.”

The independent wine bar will be transitioning to 1431 Highland Ave where they will inhabit a 1,100 square foot space, that will feature outdoor seating and Euro-style patio seating.

“We will see you soon EGAD! Follow along for updates,” another post states.
