Chef Brian Lockwood is returning to his Colorado roots, teaming up with an established hospitality group to launch two new restaurant concepts in Cherry Creek North. The Denver Post reports that the culinary wizard is partnering with Boka Restaurant Group to open two eateries at 3250 E 2nd Ave.

They will be inside 2nd & Adams, a 100,000-square-foot mixed-use building that is currently under construction. One concept will anchor the ground floor, and the other will be housed on the sprawling rooftop with mountain and city views. Not many other details about the venues, which are being funded with the help of Magnetic Capital, have been released.

They are expected to open in 2026, when the development is complete. According to CBRE, the property still has office space for lease on the second and fourth floors. OZ Architecture is leading design, and Mortenson Construction is serving as the general contractor on the building.

Lockwood is a celebrated figure in the restaurant industry whose résumé includes Frasca Food & Wine, The French Laundry, Eleven Madison Park, and training actors for FX’s The Bear. He’s a Boulder native who has cooked in some of the most prestigious kitchens in the world, and joined Boka Restaurant Group as a chef-partner in 2022, the company’s website states.

Boka Restaurant Group was founded in 2002 by James Beard Award-winning restaurateurs Rob Katz and Kevin Boehm. It operates standout culinary destinations across the U.S., with its core market in Chicago and other dining establishments in LA, Brooklyn, and Florida.
