A new indoor adventure destination is coming to Murrieta, promising over 34,000 square feet of immersive activities and high-energy entertainment for all ages, according to Maples and Associates. Urban Air Adventure Park will open at 24450 Village Walk Place, Unit C.

A former Bed Bath & Beyond space, the 34,613-square-foot building was approved for development by the city under a Minor Conditional Use Permit, records show. The approval designates the facility as an indoor commercial recreation venue within Village Walk Plaza.

Once open, Urban Air Murrieta will feature an expansive collection of attractions, including indoor zipline, ropes and climbing course, rock climbing walls, massive slides, trampoline arenas, a laser tag arena, dodgeball and sport courts, arcade games, a Warrior Course inspired by American Ninja Warrior, and designated party rooms. The business will serve pizza, chicken wings, loaded fries, pretzel bites, popcorn, and ice cream, as well as fountain drinks and Icees.

Franchisees Julian Kidd and Travis Chick are behind the project, operating under 23 Red Ventures, LLC. Chick is a former U.S. Army National Guard sergeant and Dallas art studio owner, and Kidd is a longtime financial services professional, law school alum, and father.

He told What Now OC they have obtained all necessary permits and have begun construction, and will be looking to hire around Q3 of this year. The goal is to open to families by the end of this year or early 2026.

“We are unbelievably excited to bring this indoor adventure park to the Murrieta / Temecula and surrounding areas. Travis and Julian met at an Urban Air where their kids were both celebrating a classmate’s birthday, and agreed that everyone should have the opportunity to experience this park and the community and fellowship it brings,” Kidd said

“It was on that day that the wheels were set in motion to bring this park to southern California, and we truly believe that you will enjoy it as we have as your local hub for family fun and entertainment,” he continued.
