A family-run bar and restaurant that’s been a staple in Limon for decades is switching hands, and the site is getting a facelift. According to the company’s Facebook, another family has stepped in to run South Side Food and Drink, located at 680 Main St.
Bradley Wright and Lori Wright, the new operators, took to the page to introduce themselves and explain what’s happening with the business to the community. They were granted a liquor license in May under the entity Four Slices LLC, records show.
“We are the Wright family, and we are in the process of buying South Side,” the couple said in a video update. “We are so grateful to Bob and his family for entrusting us with carrying on South Side’s name and tradition. We grew up in Limon and have both grown up on Pat and Bob’s food and South Side, and are excited to be a part of this.”
They have been active on the page, posting frequent updates about their progress in taking over and making over the space. In mid-April, they officially closed on the property; in recent weeks, they’ve poured a new floor, installed wall panels, cleaned off the old bar signs, and started yard prep. The team is also working with branding firm Juju Creative Design to reimagine the concept’s design elements.
