Mendocino Farms, the fast-casual chain with yummy sandwiches and salads, has confirmed that Centennial is one of three upcoming locations in the state. While a site has not yet been secured, the company told the publication it has selected the city as part of its expansion efforts.
This is the latest news from the business, which has recently made plenty of waves in the local scene. It was announced last July that the Mendocino would debut in the state with a Cherry Creek flagship store, as covered by What Now. That location just opened two months ago.
As operations got up and running there, the company released the news that it has four other developments planned. Along with the Centennial spot, Mendocino Farms also teased that it will open downtown, in the Highlands, and in Boulder, Westword writes. A spokesperson tells the publication they are all expected to open sometime in 2026.
“Colorado has embraced Mendocino Farms with open arms, and we’re energized by the opportunity to grow thoughtfully in communities that value quality food and meaningful connection. Each new location will reflect the local environment while bringing our friendly hospitality and culinary creativity to the table,” CEO Kevin Miles said.
The California-founded eatery started in 2005 and has spread to have 70 stores across the Sunshine State, Washington, Texas, and now Colorado. It was acquired by TPG Growth in 2017 and also partners with Whole Foods in some markets.
