The Board Babe is heading to the Joinery area, with plans to open this summer at 420 East 22nd St. The spot, which currently operates as a catering business serving Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Greensboro.

The forthcoming location will offer charcuterie boards, grab-and-go items like Italian sandwiches, salads, wine and beer, according to reporting by the Charlotte Observer.

“Our passion comes from our love of cheese and celebration,” The Board Babe website states. “We hope to offer a unique and sensory experience to all of our guests and are thrilled to promote the other businesses within our community. We hope our space is a place where people gather, celebrate and experience charcuterie, wine and so much more.”

The brand also offers private event space and charcuterie workshops.

Owner Taylor Lover confirmed the forthcoming location in a message with What Now Charlotte. The Board Babe location is expected to open in August, according to the Observer.
