A popular West Coast chain is hitting the road and preparing to bring its unique brand of cuisine easterly. California Fish Grill, which takes a sustainable approach to its fast-casual seafood fare, is planning to open over a dozen locations in the DMV, reports the Washington Business Journal.
While the concept has selected its first three greater DC area storefronts, it is actively pursuing locations four through six. The expansion is three years in the making; California Fish Grill ownership has recognized the importance of exercising patience in site selection. The company prefers storefronts that occupy around 2,500 square feet and have ample parking options. California Fish Grill is pursuing both suburban locations and spaces within DC proper.
California Fish Grill has made a name for itself by serving up sustainably and ethically sourced seafood, all while ensuring the price tag never exceeds 15 dollars. The concept has nearly 60 locations spread across the West Coast-though primarily concentrated in its titular state.
