Amici Pizza opened its second location in Queen Creek on July 15. The grand opening drew a crowd of enthusiastic customers lining up for fresh slices. This marks Amici Pizza’s second location, following its popular debut in Mesa.

Amici Pizza opened in 2019, quickly earning a local following in the East Valley for its classic pies and warm service. The owners, Kateri Cusumano and Vinny Pante, bought the restaurant in 2018. What followed was an intense five-month restoration process, leading to the 2019 opening.

The name “Amici”, Italian for “friends”, reflects the owners’ roots and focus on community. The name also reflects the owners’ vision for the restaurant as a place where people can gather, enjoy, and even make new connections.

Features of the New Location

Located on the northeast corner of Ocotillo and Signal Butte roads, the new location of Amici Pizza accepts takeout only in its first week. The business plans to launch an online ordering and delivery service from next week onwards.

The menu is an extensive one featuring a lineup of mouthwatering dishes. The menu spans appetizers, salads, pizzas, calzones, pastas, and hearty entrées. The main items are accompanied by subs and sides alongside dessert and beverage options.

A kid-friendly menu is available for children 12 and under. The complete menu is available on the brand’s official website.

Founders’ Long‑Term Vision

The new spot in Queen Creek replaced Duck Donuts at 22480 E Ocotillo Road, Unit C101. The pizzeria owners first shared plans for their forthcoming venture in early summer this year.

Owners Kateri Cusumano and Vinny Pante bring diverse backgrounds in the restaurant industry. Cusumano runs the show from the front, while Pante is the back-end genius.

Cusumano harnessed TikTok to share behind-the-scenes moments from the restaurant’s journey. Meanwhile, Pante focused on crafting the shop’s signature New York-style pizzas.

Amici Pizza has seen remarkable growth in the last few years, especially on TikTok. With its growing following, Amici Pizza plans to expand across the Valley.
