A new concept from the owners of Big Guy Catering is coming to downtown Jackson.

It was recently announced on social media that Luna Lux Lounge is coming to 128 W Michigan Avenue in Jackson. This will be a full-service restaurant and bar. According to co-owner Ella Hephzibah, she is hoping for an opening on Aug. 1.

“Step into the vibe, where live entertainment meets lux comfort,” says the description on their Facebook page.

Hephzibah said the menu will have bourbon wings and be very Creole-inspired, and there will also be shrimp and grits, and other small bites. Many cocktail drinks will be offered, along with wines.

Big Guy Catering is a Jackson-based catering company that sends out food trucks and bartends. There is a range of menus depending on the event, including weddings, private parties and graduations. The owners have been working on this project for almost a year.

Luna Lux Lounge will be going next to The Dirty Bird Grill, with Tilted Arcade Bar also nearby. The space was previously occupied by the Junk Yard Dog restaurant. More information on the opening can be found on their Facebook page, The Luna Lux Lounge.
