Parc Bistro, an award-winning fine-dining French restaurant in San Diego across from Balboa Park, is getting ready to open a new location in Rancho Santa Fe at 16081 San Dieguito Road, Suite G1A.

The company’s second location is set to move into the Del Rayo Village shopping center, replacing Dolce, according to a recent liquor license application. Owner Garo Minassian confirmed the expansion with What Now San Diego and said he hopes to open the new concept in Spring 2026.

Parc Bistro specializes in fresh seafood and modern French cuisine, offering an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. Their menu features classic French dishes, such as steak frites, escargots, and beef bourguignon, alongside daily fresh seafood specials. The restaurant prioritizes fresh, locally sourced ingredients and is led by Executive Chef Benjamin Navarro, an expert in French techniques.

When this new location opens, Parc Bistro will offer brunch, lunch, happy hour, and dinner in a warm, inviting atmosphere, featuring a heated patio. The restaurant also caters to private events, accommodating intimate gatherings of 10 to holiday events for up to 150 guests.

Minassian has deep ties to the San Diego dining scene, having started his career in the Del Mar and Rancho Santa Fe area in the late 1980s with Scalini’s. Parc Bistro’s flagship Bankers Hill location opened in 2016 and quickly gained recognition for its classic French cuisine, curated wine list, and attentive service.

The new Rancho Santa Fe location, allegedly to be called Parc Lounge, will bring the brand’s approachable French brasserie style to North County, continuing Minassian’s tradition of elevated European hospitality.
