My Panecito, a SoCal bakery known for its vibrant, modern takes on traditional Mexican sweet breads, is expanding to Orange this year. The business will be opening a new storefront at 1834 N Tustin St. as part of a dual concept with affiliate brand Loaded Cafe, according to There’s No Place Like Orange.

The property is under 2,000 square feet and is across from The Home Depot. My Panecito and brunch spot Loaded Cafe will share a kitchen. Both brands were founded by José Ruiz. Posts online show his team is now hiring for the location.

My Panecito has gone viral with items like its stuffed conchas filled with ice cream, creative spins on pan dulce, and Mexican coffee and shakes. Everything from the sweet bread to the espresso is made in-house with a focus on premium ingredients.

Along with Orange, My Panecito’s website shows it also has upcoming openings in Santa Ana, Bell, and Norwalk. There are already stores in Gardena and Placentia, the latter of which opened earlier this year.
