One of Orange County’s acclaimed specialty coffee brands, MoonGoat Coffee Roasters, will open its fifth location soon. The company is slated to open at 3210 Park Center Dr, at Irvine Company’s Pacific Arts Plaza in Costa Mesa, according to South Coast Magazine.

The new store, referred to as the MoonGoat Greenhouse, the be the largest shop yet for the chain. There will be a patio that opens onto the iconic Noguchi Gardens, and the space is filled with lush greenery and decor. It will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., serving an expanded menu of coffee, matcha drinks, breakfast, and lunch options.

Founded in 2018 by David Yardley, Mark Evans, and David Longridge, MoonGoat has rapidly grown to become a beloved staple in the coffee scene here. The new Costa Mesa location adds to its portfolio, which also includes shops in Garden Grove, Laguna Beach, Irvine, and another in Costa Mesa, along with a roastery in Santa Ana.

This addition is also part of landlord Irvine Company’s reinvestment in the plaza, which has been upgraded with a new 100-seat event venue, a Kinetic fitness center, and connected outdoor workspaces. It’s adjacent to South Coast Plaza and Segerstrom Center for the Arts, the Orange County Business Journal writes.
