Founded in Kuwait, Bora Bora Smoothie Café currently has locations in five states, and the first Louisiana location is preparing to open in a plaza at 2001 Lapalco Blvd. in Harvey. The café is currently looking to add staff. A recent job advertisement on Facebook for the café said: “We’re a vibrant, smoothie café passionate about fresh ingredients, great vibes, and friendly service. If you love smoothies, upbeat energy, and making people smile, we want you on our team!”
According to the official company page on LinkedIn, Bora Bora Smoothie Café is the US-based arm of Bora Bora Juice. The official beverage menu includes smoothies, juices, milkshakes, coffee, and energy drinks. The café also sells acai bowls, pitaya bowls, matcha bowls, and dessert waffle sandwiches. Currently, there are locations in Florida, New York, Michigan, Illinois, and Connecticut.
