PulteGroup is preparing to launch two new residential communities in the Central Ohio suburbs. Through its Del Webb brand, the national homebuilder plans to deliver nearly 1,200 homes in Plain City and Sunbury. Sales are expected to begin by spring 2026.

PulteGroup Expands in Columbus
The construction giant is ready to introduce its Del Webb brand to Columbus through two residential neighborhoods. According to a company news release, the resort-style communities are under construction in Plain City and Sunbury.
Del Webb Maygrass to Serve 55+ Community in Plain City
Designed for Columbus residents aged 55 and older, this Del Webb community will be positioned close to Plain City’s Mitchell-Dewitt Road. The community will include 711 homes spread across 353 acres with a park-like setting. Del Webb Maygrass will offer 175-plus acres of open area nature trails and preservation spots.
Residents will have access to a 16,000-square-foot clubhouse. This will include indoor and outdoor pools along with a multipurpose event space. Other highlights at the Del Webb property will be a fitness center, kitchen, craft room, and golf simulator.
Additional amenities include pickleball and bocce courts, community gardens, and a dog park.
‘Del Webb Explore at Northstar’ for All Ages in Sunbury
Located on Wilson Road in Sunbury, the Del Webb Explore community is open to homebuyers of all ages in the Columbus area. The 570 living units will be built on a 256-acre site near the scenic NorthStar Golf Club. Del Webb Explore at Northstar will further offer ponds and natural preservation zones.
Amenities include a 14,500-square-foot clubhouse with a game room, event spaces, kitchen, and more. Residents will enjoy an outdoor pool with lap lanes, pickleball courts, fire pits, and more.
The two Del Webb communities by PulteGroup will offer single-story homes featuring three designs between 1,502 square feet and 2,754 square feet. A 3,590-square-foot floor plan with a two-story loft will also be available to Central Ohio homebuyers.
The Plain City and Sunbury sites mark Del Webb’s second and third communities in Ohio. Earlier this year, the builder debuted Del Webb Hickory Greens near Cleveland.
