Sol Flour has concluded its pop-up in the Gallery at Hood Street in McDonough, but they will not be going far. Élan Washington and Ty Washington will be moving into a permanent space next door, with plans to open soon, according to a recent social media announcement.

“Being here, surrounded by art, creativity and such a beautiful community that’s grown around us, will be something to cherish forever. For every convo, laugh exchanged and new connection made — your support has meant everything to us!” the team announced on Facebook. “It is bittersweet to turn the page from this chapter, but we’re excited for how this story unfolds more and more. We’ll be getting things all moved in right next door and can’t wait to see you there!”

Sol Flour has been operating as a bakery and coffee cart, serving items like pastries, cookies, espresso beverages and tea.

Élan serves as the creative director for the brand, while Ty is the chef, according to their website. What Now Atlanta confirmed the forthcoming brick-and-mortar location with Ty in a phone call, though Ty was not immediately available to provide further details.

An interview with the team is forthcoming.
