NETHERWORLD Haunted House is celebrating a milestone this Halloween season. The celebration will bring two new haunted houses inspired by the attraction’s history. The attractions will feature returning characters, recreated scenes, and new horror experiences.
NETHERWORLD Haunted House to Celebrate 30 Years
NETHERWORLD Haunted House’s 30th anniversary celebration is set to open this Halloween season. It will feature the return of iconic monsters, unforgettable scenes, and fan-favorite characters. The anniversary celebration will include two new haunted houses designed to connect with longtime fans and satisfy first-time visitors.
Founded in 1997, NETHERWORLD is one of Atlanta’s best-known haunted attractions. It offers year-round escape rooms and a monster museum. Its seasonal haunted houses have attracted horror enthusiasts and thrill seekers for decades.
In addition to the haunted houses, guests can visit the Halloween Midway. It features themed decorations, roaming monsters, photo opportunities, games, mini escape games, and food. Visitors can also experience Escape the NETHERWORLD, which offers five year-round escape rooms. They can also visit the House of Creeps Monster Museum.
“Every season has added another chapter to the NETHERWORLD story,” said Ben Armstrong, co-creator of NETHERWORLD Haunted House. “This year, we’re bringing those chapters together — reviving legendary monsters and iconic moments while creating terrifying new experiences that continue to raise the bar.”
NETHERWORLD will open for the season on September 18-19, with additional dates scheduled throughout September, October, and November.
Inside the Two New Attractions
NETHERWORLD is bringing two new attractions this season to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The first attraction, Curse of the Collector, brings together several characters and creatures from past attractions. Guests will travel through themed environments featuring gargoyles, vampires, werewolves, gorgons, the Army of the Dead, and other returning monsters.
The second attraction is named Beyond Oblivion: Legacy of Evil. It follows the villain known as The Mangler. He conducts disturbing experiments in settings such as laboratories, swamps, abandoned towns, haunted houses and more. Visitors will encounter cryptids, mutant insects, supernatural creatures, and other horror-themed settings.
NETHERWORLD is set to celebrate three decades of scares throughout the 2026 Halloween season.
