Chef Leonard Yu, who is behind Omakase Table and Ryokou, will open Nori Yu Handroll Bar this fall.

The team has posted construction updates throughout October showcasing the intimate space, which will feature 12 seats, a wood bar and a stone countertop. The menu will focus on fresh hand rolls, with Yu aiming to offer an “approachable” menu among his other tasting menu-focused restaurants.

The spot will also offer beer, according to one of the recent update videos.

Yu opened Michelin-recognized Omakase Table in West Midtown in 2022 and has since expanded to Buckhead. He then opened another omakase restaurant, Ryokou, in 2024 in Adair Park in Downtown Atlanta.
