Craving Mexican food? Tacoma’s Lincoln District is about to get a 24-hour fix.

Burritos California, a fast-casual Mexican spot open around the clock, plans to open at 820 S. 38th St., The News Tribune reports.

Owned by Juan and Ramiro Osoria-Ramos, the chain already has locations in Seattle, Lakewood, Marysville, Auburn and Kent. The Tacoma spot will be its seventh location, with all restaurants open 24/7.

According to the outlet, Burritos California registered its Tacoma LLC in November of 2024, and a sign appeared earlier this year. The 1,500-square-foot building remains boarded and the lot fenced, though crews were spotted working there on Monday.

Fan favorites include the Monster Burrito, packed with carne asada, rice, beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, lettuce, sour cream and cheese; the Carne Asada Burrito with steak, guacamole and pico de gallo; and the California Burrito, filled with steak, potatoes, pico de gallo and cheese.

Breakfast burritos with potato, egg and cheese are served from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. for early risers. The menu also features tostadas, tacos, quesadillas, chimichangas, enchiladas and desserts like fried ice cream and flan.

The Osoria-Ramos family also own Aliberto’s California Mexican Food, according to business filings.

The exact opening date hasn’t been announced, visit the shop’s website for updates.
