Ristorante Beatrice, located at 1504 Sherbrooke Street West in Montreal, has officially closed its doors as of August 3, 2025, in preparation for a full-scale transformation.

Located in the heart of Montreal’s Golden Square Mile, the beloved Italian restaurant will remain at its iconic address but reopen with a reimagined interior and terrace, redesigned in coordination with the nearby Le Sherbrooke development. The renovation will introduce a modernized space featuring a glass atrium, abundant greenery, and natural light, aiming to capture the ambiance of a timeless conservatory. While Ristorante Beatrice has not yet confirmed an exact reopening date, the restaurant plans to reopen in Spring 2026.

“Beatrice will be closing its doors as of August 3, 2025, as we embark on an exciting new chapter,” according to the announcement. “Our beloved restaurant will undergo a complete transformation and reopen in Spring 2026, reimagined with elegance and care while remaining in its iconic location now alongside the prestigious Le Sherbrooke development. This major renovation will unveil a beautifully redesigned interior and an expansive new terrace set within a glass atrium. Filled with soft natural light and surrounded by abundant greenery, the space will evoke a timeless conservatory ambiance, elevating the dining experience you’ve come to know and love from us.”
