The owner of Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodles in Aurora is moving on to a new venture after the closing of that business earlier this year. His latest concept is called L&Y Asian Bistro, located at 810 Vallejo St. in Denver, according to a community post.

Its initial menu will focus on Americanized-Chinese cuisine, with dishes such as sesame chicken, orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, black pepper chicken, and jalapeno chicken. Offerings may be expanded in the future.

Jeff Lau told What Now Denver the eatery will differ from his former business, as it’s a grab-and-go style kitchen, with delivery options available. Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodles was a sit-down establishment in a part of Aurora known for fabulous foreign cuisine.

Lau’s journey in the restaurant industry began as a delivery driver, eventually progressing to server and manager roles at a Japanese-Chinese restaurant. His family took over Ten Seconds in early 2022 and closed it in May of this year, posts show.
