Denver’s Jefferson Park neighborhood is set to welcome a new sports bar and breakfast spot called JP Restaurant and Lounge, Denver Post reports. It will be taking over the property at 2900 W. 25th Ave., which was formerly home to Sarto’s Italian eatery.

Business records show that the concept was officially registered as a Colorado Trade Name in June. It’s associated with Reyes Bar and Venue LLC, from Jose Reyes, who also runs Royal Event Center in Thornton. No timeline for opening is known, but a Facebook page states it is “coming soon”.

The 3,000-square-foot location will feature two outdoor patios. Reyes signed a 10-year lease for the space, which has been vacant for half a decade, in June. He plans to eventually open the basement as a pool and bar area.

JP Restaurant and Lounge will serve a combination of bar fare, Mexican dishes, and breakfast options. Breakfast and brunch service will include staples like omelets, French toast, and Eggs Benedict, while the pub menu in the afternoons and evenings will have wings, tenders, burgers, and tacos.
