Urban Egg is expanding in Downtown Denver with a bright, contemporary space inside the Triangle Building. The new outlet at 1550 Wewatta St. accommodates 119 guests indoors and also includes a large bar area and outdoor patio.

“Fitting the Urban Egg name, this new location is a beautiful, truly urban space that fits seamlessly in downtown Denver,” said Randy Price, founder of Urban Egg. “It feels like a natural fit for us, and we’re excited to fuel the economy as Urban Egg and the downtown community continue to grow and evolve, all while staying true to our commitment to fresh ingredients and thoughtful hospitality.”

This marks the brand’s third Denver restaurant and 11th overall. Urban Egg at Wewatta St. will operate from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Guests can enjoy the brand’s signature dishes, juice blends, brunch cocktails, and more. There will be dine-in, online delivery, and take-out options for visitors, professionals, and residents alike.

Opening Offer and Community Efforts

As part of the grand opening celebration, Urban Egg is rolling out an exclusive offer. From August 25 to August 27, 2025, the first 20 dine-in tables daily will receive an Urban Egg travel mug and free coffee for a year. The offer is only available for dine-in guests. Customers must present the Urban Egg travel mug to redeem the free coffee offer, valid until next year.

In an effort to give back to the community, proceeds from Urban Egg Downtown Denver’s alcohol sales during the soft opening will benefit Food For Thought, a nonprofit that supports school-age children’s hunger issues.

“Urban Egg was born in Colorado, and as we continue to grow into new neighborhoods, we never forget where we started,” said Randy Price, founder of Urban Egg. “We’re incredibly grateful to our Colorado community for their loyalty and love over the years—it’s the reason we’re able to keep doing what we do. The free coffee promotion with our locally roasted Barista Espresso is just a small way for us to say thank you to the guests who’ve supported us from the very beginning.”

The restaurant, founded in 2012, offers classic breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes with a modern twist. Urban Egg currently operates 11 locations across three states, with more on the way. To keep up with future planning, Urban Egg will open six new locations throughout Colorado, Kansas, and Texas by 2026.
