According to recent reporting, Lukumades, the Greek dessert brand, is opening a location in Five Points.
Reportedly, Lukumades has signed a lease for 1,238 square feet of space in the historic Five Points Theater Building, located at 1028 Park Street.
“With a compelling following at their Jax Beach location, we are excited to have Lukumades join the retail tenant roster at our Five Points Theater mixed-use project. We believe this fills a need in the Riverside community and that Lukumades will very nicely complement the daytime traffic of our long-time tenant, Brew, as well as enhance the nighttime experience from Five, our newly opened live music venue,” said Andrew Seng, Union South Partners founder, in a statement to the Business Journal.
“The revitalization of the Five Points Theater stands as a powerful example of what’s possible when a shared vision is matched with precise execution,” said Sam Middlekauff, senior associate at Colliers, in a statement to the Business Journal.
“The nearly century-old landmark, now revitalized under Union South Partners’ stewardship, is once again a hub of activity. Lukumades will serve both the building’s office tenants and the 100,000+ guests attending Marathon Live performances each year, adding a new flavor to Jacksonville’s vibrant Riverside community, and filling a void in the area.”
No opening date has been announced.
