A new family-friendly entertainment hub and café could be coming to Fair Oaks.
Martin Loekito of EAS Entertainment LLC has submitted plans in Sacramento County to open WOOF Entertainment, a roughly 21,000-square-foot recreation center at 5229 Hazel Ave in the Madison Marketplace shopping center.
The Sacramento Business Journal reports that the project is still in its early stages—the lease has not yet been signed, and entertainment use still needs clearance from other anchor tenants.
“There are still a lot of things that need to fall in place,” Loekito told What Now Sacramento in an email, adding that he’ll share more once the concept is further along.
According to the application, however, WOOF would include a 3,500-square-foot café with a seating area, along with a multistory soft play area, a laser tag arena, mini bowling lanes, party rooms, and an arcade. While the menu has not yet been developed, the café would likely serve as a gathering spot for parents and friends to relax while kids play.
Overall, the venue would have a maximum capacity of 300 people. Similar Sacramento-area destinations cited in the application include Rebounderz Trampoline Park, Country Club Lanes/Lazer X, and Sky Zone.
Loekito also operates Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt sites in Lodi and the Bay Area, bringing plenty of experience with family-friendly food concepts to WOOF. If the Fair Oaks lease falls through, he’s already eyeing a vacant building in Elk Grove for the project.
These plans follow a wave of hybrid dining-and-entertainment destinations in the region, including The BLVD! in Elk Grove, which combines bowling, arcade games, and a full restaurant and craft cocktail bar.
Madison Marketplace is currently home to a range of dining, entertainment, and shopping tenants, including Noah’s NY Bagels, Baskin-Robbins, Madison Mall Bingo, The Rug Specialists, and T.J. Maxx.
Stay tuned for updates as WOOF Entertainment works through approvals and possibly prepares to open its doors in Fair Oaks.
