Business partners Tal Sharon and Doris Rebi Chia are planning to bring their track records of restaurant success to Doris Metropolitan Studio, an Uptown bistro that will focus on premium meats and burgers. Located at 4734 Magazine St., the restaurant will flex a butchery program and in-house bakery, according to NOLA.com. Various cuts of meat, premium burgers, and house-made sausages from the butchery program will often cook up on the restaurant’s centerpiece charcoal grill. Seating options will include bar seating, an open-air patio, a private dining room, and a chef’s table. There are also plans for a live music and DJs program, which aims to occasionally include artists visiting the city. What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.

Doris Metropolitan Studio is ostensibly a sister restaurant to Doris Metropolitan located in The Quarter, which is a restaurant founded by Rebi Chia. Sharon owns Tal’s Hummus just across the street from Doris Metropolitan Studio. He also owned the two previous restaurants at the same address: the Son of a Bun Burger Bar and Misa.
