According to recent reporting, White Castle will be expanding into Volusia County for the first time.
The Columbus, Ohio-based burger chain will open a new location at 1944 LPGA Blvd. in Daytona Beach’s Tomoka Town Center in late summer 2026, creating 70 jobs, according to a news release.
The Business Journal reports that this agreement “represents a strategic milestone in White Castle’s continued expansion across Florida, reinforcing its long-term growth plans in the region, White Castle Vice President Jamie T. Richardson indicated in a prepared statement.”
“City permits, which did not include construction costs, show the restaurant will span about 2,500 square feet and include two drive-thru lanes and 40 parking spaces,” the report adds.
In addition, The Daytona Beach location will feature a modern “neighborhood” prototype design, according to Orlando-based Bisbee & Co. President Jennifer Bisbee, who is helping handle public relations for White Castle.
No opening date has been announced.
